DALLAS--Sept. 12, 2006--Broadlane today announced that CHRISTUS Health has signed a renewal agreement for a variety of supply chain services to be provided by Broadlane. The exclusive five-year agreement became effective Sept. 1.
A key element of the renewal is an expansion of the services Broadlane provides to CHRISTUS. Since first being hired by CHRISTUS three years ago, Broadlane has provided traditional supply chain services. With the renewal, Broadlane is now also providing more of its advanced supply chain services, including various data and technology services, clinical utilization services, purchasing services and logistic management services.
"As an organization, CHRISTUS has made enormous strides over the past three years with Broadlane's help in terms of improving our supply chain operating processes, focus and discipline," said Steve Pitzer, the system director for supply chain management for CHRISTUS.
