The company selected IDS Scheer's ARIS SmartPath for Foods/Beverages solution, incorporating SAP(R) Best Practices for Fast Moving Consumer Goods, with ARIS-based industry-specific reference models and consulting services.

Prior to working with IDS Scheer, Community Coffee had been using various legacy systems to manage its business operations. According to Vaccaro, about 260 Community Coffee employees are using the new system. Led by Community Coffee Project Manager David Fahr, the IDS Scheer team worked in collaboration to roll this out to over 50 distribution and retail locations and to several remote sales team members. The implementation go-live date was July 1, 2006.
