Global Bay Wins Mobilizer Award Two Years in a Row!
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J.--Global Bay, the leader in providing mobile applications, has won Mobile Enterprise Magazine’s Annual Mobilizer award for “Best Mobile Supply Chain Deployment” for the solution they deployed for J&J’s Tri-State Delivery Service on their Global Bay AccessPoint Mobile Information Management Software. This is the second year in a row that Global Bay has won this award. Since 2002, through its Access Point Mobile Information Management System software, Global Bay has delivered enterprise-class mobile solutions to hundreds of customers across the globe, ranging from government agencies and multinational corporations to small and medium sized enterprises across a number of sectors.
Global Bay provided J&J with a scalable, cost-effective, mobile solution that is integrated to their existing legacy application. Leveraging the Global Bay software allowed J&J to deploy the solution in less than three months on Motorola’s rugged handheld mobile computers. The streamlined functionality provided for workers includes loading/receiving and field-based proof of delivery (POD) -- resulting in a overall reduction in costs through improved accuracy of data collection, delivery tracking and shipment status and expedited billing cycle. “J&J needed a solution that could be deployed rapidly to meet their clients’ demands,” said Global Bay founder and president, Sandeep Bhanote. “Global Bay delivered J&J a flexible mobile solution that is state-of-the-art and that meets J&J’s requirements both from a cost, and strategic/tactical perspective.”
