Reva Named Top 10 'Company to Watch'
Managing Automation Magazine Applauds RFID Focus on Manufacturing
CHELMSFORD, Mass.--Sept. 19, 2006--Reva Systems, an emerging leader among radio frequency identification (RFID) network infrastructure providers, today announced it has been chosen by Managing Automation as one of the most innovative companies to impact the manufacturing industry this year. The magazine's annual "Companies to Watch" issue sorts through the myriad of emerging new technology companies and products, selecting the top 10 with the greatest potential for manufacturing enterprises.

The magazine's praise awards companies that deliver articulate technology and rational, balanced business solutions. Reva's Tag Acquisition Processor (TAP) appliance and Tag Acquisition Network (TAN) infrastructure help to streamline the deployment of RFID systems and simplify their management in dynamic manufacturing environments. Managing Automation specifically weeds out the "me-too" vendors that embark on technology ventures such as RFID without a rigorous value proposition - the "Companies to Watch" award is intended to help focus attention on suppliers that merit evaluation.

"Reva's RFID network infrastructure products are the industrial-strength RFID solutions that manufacturers and suppliers tell us they've been looking for in a scalable, deployable package," said Ashley Stephenson, chairman and co-founder of Reva Systems. "Our Scalable Compliance Solution is able to grow quickly in order to RFID-enable more SKU's, more production lines, more facilities and more contract manufacturers, ultimately engaging the entire supply chain all the way to original component suppliers."

"We set our sights on delivering a production-quality RFID solution, so achieving recognition like this is another vital sign of good momentum across the industry," Stephenson said.

This is the fourth industry title that Reva has won in recent months:

-- In April, Reva was selected to Network World's prestigious annual "Top 10" list of innovative new networking companies.

-- In May, Reva's TAP appliance won Network Computing's "Best of Interop" award for Wireless and Mobility products.

-- And in June, recognizing Reva for technology excellence, the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council named co-founder David Husak as a "CTO of the Year" finalist.

Spanning less than six months, Reva's string of industry accolades is bringing RFID solutions into focus with network innovation, technology excellence and manufacturing merit. Previous award announcements can be found on Reva's web site at www.revasystems.com.
