CHICAGO--Sept. 13, 2006-- Americas' SAP Users' Group Event to Provide Thought Leadership and Best Practices for Supply Chain Professionals

The Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG), the world's largest customer-run community of SAP professionals, announced today that Gregory L. Wade, global chief supply chain officer at Molson Coors Brewing Company and Chakib Bouhdary, senior vice president of value engineering for SAP Americas, will keynote the ASUG Supply Chain Management Forum, to be held September 24-27 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Wade will kick-off the conference with a look at the overall industry challenges facing supply chain professionals today, and discuss how Molson Coors Brewing Company is responding to those challenges. Dr. Bouhdary will open the second full day of the conference with insights into what CEOs expect from their Supply Initiatives and how the SAP platform is changing the way customers use technology to build world-class supply chains and respond to the renewed focus on revenue growth.

With more than 100 other customer-driven educational sessions, the ASUG Supply Chain Management Forum provides SAP customers with a unique opportunity to collaborate with other industry leaders, share strategies on how to maximize their investment in SAP technologies, and learn how to optimize their supply chains to enable real business transformation. In addition to two full days of panels and presentations, the event includes an afternoon of influence sessions with SAP, including updates from the ASUG/SAP Benchmarking study on Supplier Relationship Management, and several opportunities for attendees to network and discuss the critical supply chain issues they face in today's challenging global business environment.

"Today's leading enterprises require flexible solutions to their supply chain challenges," said Rod Masney, president of ASUG. "The ASUG Supply Chain Management Forum promises to deliver the latest intelligence on supply chain trends, along with tangible ideas on how to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and create a roadmap for building effective operations."

Senior logistics and supply chain management teams from leading companies will share best practices and lessons learned in implementing demand and supply planning, inventory management, RFID, supplier relationship management, supplier adoption, warehouse management, service parts management, and sales and operations planning. This year's line up includes speakers from General Mills, Intel, Whirlpool, and more. For complete conference information and to register, visit w3.asug.com/pr/scm2006. ASUG members and all licensed SAP customers and partners are encouraged to attend.

Attendees that wish to maximize their time out of the office and learn how industry leaders are achieving manufacturing excellence with SAP Manufacturing (mySAP ERP) and SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP xMII) can register for the SAP Adaptive Manufacturing Summit, being held immediately following the ASUG Supply Chain Forum at the Colorado Convention Center.
