NRF’s annual convention is the retail industry’s premier event, bringing together global retail leaders that are shaping the future of the industry and providing a showcase for business and technology innovation.

High Profile Presentations
JDA Software customers Kraft, Black & Decker Hardware & Home Improvement and Meijer will participate in a concurrent session titled, “One Synchronized View of Demand Across the Supply Chain,” on Tuesday, January 15 from 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. in Hall A, 1A21/22, moderated by Wayne Usie, JDA senior vice president of retail. Presenters from the retail, manufacturing and wholesale industries will explain in this session how they are achieving business transformation and leveraging a synchronized view of demand to change the way they do business to support future growth initiatives and challenges.
In addition to the concurrent session, JDA will host an additional NRF presentation on Monday, January 14, from 12:30-1:15 p.m. titled, “The Key to Collaboration: Leveraging POS Data to Grow Market Share,” held in the expo hall in room 3D08. Presenter Scott Strickland, vice president of information systems for Black & Decker Hardware and Home Improvement (BDHHI), will highlight the importance of leveraging store-level point-of-sale (POS) data to sense and respond early to the sales trends and consumer preferences of products in a highly competitive environment. By managing POS data on a detailed level, Black & Decker can work collaboratively with its retail partners to jointly grow market share.
